
The presidential contender of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso on Saturday convened with the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar on Saturday.
Atiku, a prominent figure vying for the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential nomination for the 2027 election, disclosed the meeting to the public via a post on his Facebook profile.
Although specifics of the meeting remain unclear, Atiku mentioned that they both engaged in an extensive dialogue concerning the condition of the nation.
“This evening, I welcomed the former Governor of Kano State and the presidential contender of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, for a courtesy visit.
“We engaged in a thorough discussion about the nation’s situation,” the former VP stated.
NAIJATAB reports that in anticipation of the highly awaited 2027 election, opposition leaders have been reorganizing to oust President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Kwankwaso is speculated to be considering a switch to the ADC prior to the primary election.
