“Embracing Independence: Foluke Daramola’s Personal Take on Marriage [VIDEO]”

Well-known Nollywood star Foluke Daramola, has expressed that she doesn’t perceive herself as someone who is wed.

The star made these comments during her latest interview on the African A-List podcast.

Reflecting on her union with Kayode Salako, she referred to her spouse as the “embodiment of tranquility.”

Elaborating on the liberty she experiences in her marriage, Daramola stated, “I don’t sense that I’m married. My husband represents peace for me. If I inform Kayode right now that I’m heading to Canada this evening and plan to be there for an entire year, he would simply say goodbye. This doesn’t indicate he doesn’t care for me; he just believes in not confining me.

“Thus, I don’t perceive myself as married. He is my close friend and my biggest supporter. When we argue, you might assume that the marriage is on the brink of dissolution, but just give us two hours, and everything will be resolved,” she continued.

NAIJATAB reports that this follows two years after Kayode Salako acknowledged his marriage to another woman, named Oluwafunke Oyegoke-Salako, while still wedded to the actress.

Justifying his choice to wed another woman, he mentioned that he had been married to Foluke for 13 years without a biological offspring.

Recall that the duo tied the knot in 2010.
