The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has sanctioned that the matchday 32 clash between Barau FC and Katsina United be held without spectators.
The league authority indicated that this decision was made at the behest of Barau FC.
As stated by the NPFL, the rationale was grounded in the previous behavior of fans from both Kano and Katsina United.
The NPFL encouraged Barau FC to ensure successful arrangements necessary for the closed-door encounter.

Barau FC will compete against Katsina United at the Sani Abacha Stadium this Sunday.
