Previous presidential aspirant of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, has conducted a private discussion with National Deputy Chairman of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC, Muhammad Rabiu Sabo Bakin.
Bakin visited Kwankwaso as a gesture of goodwill, accompanied by the party’s National Publicity Secretary Ibrahim Ahmad Waya.
Reports indicate that the pair convened with the former Kano State governor to encourage him to depart from the African Democratic Congress, ADC, and affiliate with the NDC.
Bakin advised Kwankwaso during their conversation that he should not continue in the ADC due to the leadership turmoil affecting the organization.
As per him, the NDC is entirely ready to welcome Kwankwaso along with his considerable supporters and to offer them any positions they wish within the party.
