President Bola Tinubu stated that Nigeria is evolving from a state of endurance to stability and progressively moving toward prosperity.
Tinubu made these remarks on Friday while speaking to delegates at the 4th Elective National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.
Reflecting on the initiatives of his administration, the president emphasized what he termed significant impacts across various programs.
“This evening, you listened to accounts from beneficiaries of some of our initiatives. Our programs are actual, evident, viable, influential, quantifiable, and not just empty talk, as some opposing factions tend to claim.
“We are transitioning from a survivalist stance to a stable phase and steadily progressing toward an age of prosperity,” he declared.
The President also directed his remarks to young Nigerians, encouraging enhanced engagement in governance and party activities.
“To the youth of our party and our nation, I want to address you directly. You are not only the architects of Nigeria’s future. You embody our aspirations for a more magnificent and secure tomorrow,” he asserted.
He commended the contribution of youth in national advancement, noting their ingenuity and enthusiasm as vital resources.
“Your inventiveness, creativity, digital savvy, entrepreneurial spirit, and bravery are our most significant national treasures,” Tinubu remarked.
Tinubu additionally urged the APC to generate more avenues for youth engagement in decision-making processes.
“This party must continually expand opportunities for youth involvement, not merely as spectators, but as decision-makers.
“We must cultivate a generation of young progressives who are not just politically engaged but also intellectually sound, morally upright, and nationally devoted. The future we aspire to cannot be constructed without you at its core,” he emphasized.
