“Shattered Trust: A Father’s Betrayal in Ogun”
A parent in the Ijebu Ode region of Ogun state, known as Oluwadamilare Ewedemi, has been detained by the authorities for purportedly mistreating and impregnating his daughter on five occasions.
The maltreatment reportedly commenced in 2019, with the accused allegedly facilitating unlawful abortions for each pregnancy.
The victim, who is currently 21 years old (name withheld), notified the Ifo branch of the Ogun State Police Command about her father.
As she recounted, she lost her mother during infancy and was placed in a children's home in Ikeja, Lagos State, by her father, who later brought her to Ijebu Ode in 2019 under the guise of guardianship.
