“Taraba Unveils Dynamic Youth Database to Enhance Planning and Service Delivery”



The leader of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas, on Wednesday in Jalingo, the state capital, unveiled a comprehensive youth database and profiling initiative aimed at enhancing development planning and elevating service delivery.

Encouraging the youth in the state to reject negative influences and direct their energies toward productive activities that foster personal development and societal advancement, he reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to youth progression.

The governor, who underscored that precise and trustworthy data is essential for formulating effective policies and programs, stated that the initiative is designed to enhance development planning and boost service delivery.

He clarified that the initiative would equip the government with the essential tools to better comprehend and address the needs of the youth throughout the state.

According to him, the newly launched system will assist in pinpointing the skills, requirements, and prospects within the youth demographic, facilitating more strategic and effective interventions.

Additionally, the Chairman of the Taraba State Youth Development Agency, Nongha Gara, mentioned that the initiative would improve targeted interventions and guarantee that government resources are allocated to those who require them the most.

He pointed out that the existence of a thorough and current youth database would enhance program delivery and maximize impact.
