“Wizkid Defends DJ Tunez as Tensions Rise with Burna Boy”

Renowned Afrobeat artist, Wizkid, has criticized Burna Boy for assaulting DJ Tunez.

NAIJATAB reports that DJ Tunez, who serves as Wizkid’s official DJ, was brutally attacked at a Lagos nightclub on Monday night by Burna Boy and his entourage for not playing his tracks.

In light of the physical confrontation, the Nigerian DJ Association, NDJ, has prohibited Burna Boy’s songs from being featured on playlists nationwide.

In retaliation, Burna Boy was filmed in a towel dance clip circulating on social media, taunting DJ Tunez.

Wizkid, outraged by the incident, condemned Burna Boy for assaulting DJ Tunez with a 10-man crew.

Calling Burna a fool, Wizkid accused him of dancing with singer Diddy’s towel.

“Pussy nigga jumps a DJ with 10 men, carrying Diddy’s towel while dancing. I’ve never encountered a fool like this Diddy babe in my existence,” Wizkid posted on X.

NAIJATAB reports that Burna Boy has faced accusations of engaging in a same-sex relationship with the troubled American rapper, Diddy.

However, he refuted the claims, asserting that his connection with Diddy was purely professional.

Remember that Diddy was arrested in 2024 and subsequently sentenced to prison on multiple sexual assault charges.
