“Burna Boy Sets the Record Straight: My Solo Stand Against Assault Allegations!”

Afrobeats artist, Damini Ogulu, commonly known as Burna Boy, has refuted allegations that he collaborated with ten other individuals during his recent confrontation with Wizkid’s personal DJ, DJ Tunez.

Both DJ Tunez and his employer, Wizkid, asserted in separate social media updates following the incident that Burna Boy assembled with 10 other individuals against the DJ.

In response during a livestream with Shallipopi on Wednesday night, Burna Boy dismissed the allegations.

He did, however, concede to striking DJ Tunez, boasting that he slapped him twice.

“Shalli, no be 10 people touch that guy, na only me. I swear with my mama. If I dey lie, make Ogun carry my mama go anywhere wey Wizkid mama dey. Na only me – two slap na im I give am,” he stated.

The African Giant singer articulated that had he truly teamed up with his crew against DJ Tunez, he would have been hospitalized by now.

Burna Boy disclosed that after the event, he remained at the club for around four hours, anticipating retaliation from DJ Tunez’s crew but instead discovered that the DJ was on social media venting.

The artist asserted that DJ Tunez was also accompanied by some men in the club but they fled upon seeing him.
