“Step Up or Step Aside: Gov. Namadi’s Bold Challenge to Political Appointees”

Jigawa State Chief Executive, Umar Namadi, has instructed all political appointees to emphasize the welfare of individuals at the grassroots as part of his administration’s fundamental policy of fostering unity and collective support.

This was detailed in a press release endorsed by Zainab S. Rabo, SSA Media Affairs to the Chief Executive.

She mentioned that the Chief Executive made this statement during a stakeholders’ assembly conducted on Sunday at the Banquet Hall, Government House Dutse.

The Chief Executive underscored that governance should be centered on the populace, encouraging appointees to be compassionate, responsive, and dedicated to enhancing the lives of citizens at every level.

He reiterated that his administration’s guiding principle is founded on mutual assistance, calling upon all officials to reinforce their ties with the community and effectively attend to their needs.

Governor Namadi further emphasized that genuine leadership is demonstrated through service, empathy, and commitment to the well-being of the populace.

The chief executive’s remarks come amidst the increasing number of grievances from the public regarding certain political office bearers due to their lack of support and failure to assist individuals, given their current benefits.

He pointed out that some of these appointees claimed they possess nothing to contribute, despite their current benefits.

“Anyone who believes they receive nothing to aid the public should resign,” Gov. Namadi remarked.
