“Actor Afod Urges Gov Aiyedatiwa to Revitalize Ondo’s Failing Schools – Watch the Revealing Video!”
Nollywood performer and director, Kunle Afod, has criticized the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, regarding the inadequate condition of hospitals, roads, educational institutions, and other essential needs in Ose Local Government Area.
NAIJATAB reports that Afod, who has been advocating with the state government for nearly a month, nonetheless called out the governor on Monday evening for neglecting the essential needs of the citizens.
While disclosing that certain communities have been deprived of electricity for the last 20 years, Afod highlighted that Idoani has been without light for eight years.
“Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, do you believe I will remain silent if you disregard my appeal for Ose Local Government? No, I refuse to remain silent. I’m reaching out once more to the Chairman of Ose Local Government, Hon CK Ojo, let’s observe this video together. This is CAC nursery and primary school located in Idoani, observe another institution under the same Ose LGA.
“All the educators have deserted, and the children in these communities have stopped attending school. There’s no viable road to the communities, and you seem content managing the state’s resources ineffectively as you wish. There’s no viable road connecting all the communities in Ose LG.
” The healthcare system is utterly deficient; they have shut down all the general hospitals in Idoani. There’s no commercial banking facility remaining in this area. Governor Aiyedatiwa, engage the Chairman, House of Rep representatives, those in the House of Assembly, and the Senator for that constituency to collaborate with them. How much longer will Ose Local Government endure in this manner?, he questioned.
