“After Years Apart: The Dramatic Reunion of Motilola Akinlami and Kunle Afod [WATCH NOW]”

Renowned Nollywood actress, Motilola Akinlami, has mended fences with her former employer and producer, Kunle Afod, years after their tumultuous dispute.

NAIJATAB recalls that Motilola had in 2024 confronted Kunle Afod for hindering other producers from offering her roles due to her decision to end their relationship because of his spouse’s jealousy.

However, during a recent discussion with actor Tony Montana, Motilola declared the conclusion of their six-year conflict.

While expressing gratitude to actor Femi Adebayo and others for bringing them together, she stated, “I was hurt.”

“The primary disagreement I had was with someone I held in high regard, and it was truly distressing for me. It escalated to a stage where I had to resort to social media to name names. It saddened me that it reached that level.

“So, kudos to Femi Adebayo for facilitating our reconciliation. Femi Adebayo embodies peace. The matter has been settled between my boss, Kunle Afod, and myself. God has guided us to resolve it. Some senior colleagues have intervened. Special appreciation to Femi Adebayo and Bayo Tijani for their contributions,” she remarked.
