Renowned Nigerian actress, Toyin Abraham, has pledged never to exchange greetings with her peer, Funke Akindele again.
Toyin expressed this sentiment after being disregarded by Funke in a public setting.
NAIJATAB reports that Funke, during the premiere of actress Iyabo Ojo’s film on Sunday evening, declined to acknowledge Toyin Abraham’s salutations despite tapping her hand and calling her name.
Toyin was overheard saying “Aunty Funke, good evening ma.”
In answer, Funke entirely overlooked her and turned away despite the tap on her shoulder.
Toyin, feeling humiliated by the occurrence, subsequently walked away from her.
This incident ignited a debate on social media, with numerous users criticizing Funke Akindele’s unpleasant demeanor.
In response to the trending video under a post on Instagram, Toyin revealed that she has unfollowed Funke and firmly vowed not to greet her again.
Toyin commented in a now-deleted post “I have unfollowed her, God forbid misfortunes. If I ever greet her again, that implies I’m a fool.”
