Funke Akindele Responds to Snubbing Rumors Surrounding Fuji Icon Pasuma at Lagos Gala

Nollywood actress and director Funke Akindele has refuted rumors that she overlooked fuji musician Pasuma at a Lagos gathering over the weekend.

A video making the rounds on X showcased the moment the fuji icon sought Akindele’s attention while she was engaged in cordial exchanges with another individual. In the footage, the actress carried on her chat with the other person, prompting Pasuma to return to his seat.

Since the clip became widely shared, it has been speculated that the actress purposefully ignored the fuji star.

An X influencer, Uoladiti, shared the video with the remark, “Moment Funke Akindele overlooked Pasuma in public. This isn’t looking favorable at all.”

In response, Funke Akindele dismissed the accusations, clarifying that she greeted and danced with Pasuma at the very same event.

“Ignore? Absolutely not. Please stop the negativity. I saw him, greeted him, danced with him. Pasuma is my Egbon. Please, everyone should cease this malice,” she commented.

NAIJATAB recalls that Funke Akindele recently garnered attention for allegedly snubbing her peer, Toyin Abraham, at a film premiere.

Following the public disregard, Abraham pledged never to initiate discussions with Akindele again.
