“Debbie Shokoya Clears the Air: ‘Obesere is Not My Biological Father'”
Nollywood performer, Debbie Shokoya, has refuted widespread claims suggesting that singer Obesere is her actual father.
As per the trending news that emerged on social media over the weekend, Debbie purportedly expressed distress after years of maintaining the information as a secret.
In response to the reports, Debbie, in a video posted on her Instagram account on Monday, emphasized that she has never had any interaction with Obesere previously.
Addressing the uproar, Debbie remarked, “It’s no longer amusing; the story is all over. I have never encountered Obesere, and you assert that I stated he’s my biological father? Don’t I resemble my father? Am I not a duplicate of my biological father?
“Obesere is not my biological father. Kindly cease disseminating false information! Stop drafting or sharing statements I never made. Some commentators do not even possess the discernment to recognize that this information is fabricated; they immediately begin hurling insults.
“I have never said or documented this, nor did I cry out as they claimed. Please refrain from spreading misleading news. Bloggers should also share this video just as quickly as they rushed to propagate that falsehood,” she articulated.
