“Reign of the Bandit Kingpin: Auwalu’s Fall in Kaduna”

A notorious outlaw, simply referred to as Kachallah Auwalu, has been eliminated during a brutal confrontation between competing armed factions in the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

A counter-insurgency and security specialist in the Lake Chad area, Zagazola Makama, revealed this in a post on X.

Makama indicated that the conflict transpired on April 18 at approximately 1635 hrs in the Maganda vicinity, a well-known forest corridor associated with frequent armed group activities in the region.

As per his account, Kachallah Auwalu was allegedly a significant figure within one of the armed factions operating under a rival network, possessing alleged sway over actions in the Maganda, Kuyello, and Dogon Dawa regions.

He further noted that the clash represented an internal struggle among competing armed groups, which has continued to intensify within forested communities in the area.

“The fighting was still ongoing at the time of this report, with unverified reports suggesting that further casualties may have occurred among the involved armed elements.

“Troops from Sector 1 of Operation Fansan Yamma have been alerted and assigned to closely monitor the situation, with orders to capitalize on emerging opportunities to neutralize armed elements and avert further escalation,” he mentioned.
