“Nigerian Tragedy: The Untold Story of General Uba’s Silent Demise Amidst Political Turbulence – Inibehe Effiong”

Inibehe Effiong, a civil rights attorney, has confronted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu regarding its reaction to the rampant insecurity in Nigeria.
In a proclamation on X, Monday, Effiong drew parallels between the military responses of the US and Nigeria towards terror incidents and instability.

He stated that the US government went to great lengths to rescue an American pilot in Iran, while the Nigerian administration left a detained Brigadier General, Musa Uba, to perish after being apprehended by militants in Borno State in November 2025.

“I am presently observing a press conference conducted by President Trump, the CIA director, and his defense secretary concerning the salvation of an American pilot and a weapons system officer from the ground in Iran.

“The degree to which America is prepared to go to protect and rescue one American is truly astonishing.

“In Nigeria, a general was captured, murdered, and degraded by militants, yet we have not witnessed any significant response from Tinubu and his associates in the villa.

“Members of the Nigerian Armed Forces are compensated with extremely inadequate salaries.

“Meanwhile, politicians and their relatives are flourishing in luxury,” he expressed on X.

Recall that Arise TV host Oseni Rufai recently wept while reminiscing about how Brig. Uba met his end in Borno.

NAIJATAB reported on Sunday that the US pilot who was shot down earlier was extricated in a military operation.
