“Nasarawa United Secures N6 Million Reward After Triumph Over Rivers United!”

The players of Nasarawa United have been given a monetary reward of N6 million for their 4-1 victory over Rivers United.

The Solid Miners received N1 million each for the goals scored during the match, courtesy of state governor Abdullahi Sule.

Following the game on Monday, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Kwanta Yakubu, contributed an additional cash prize of N2 million for the players.

Jofrank Istifanus, Ngei Oluka-Efor, Abubakar Abdullahi, and Chimezie Victor found the net for Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium.

Taiwo Abdulrafiu netted the lone goal for Rivers United in the match.

With this victory, Nasarawa United ascended to the third position on the league standings.
