“Guardians of the Law: New Recruitment Dates Set, Beware of Scams!”

The Osun State Police Command has revealed that the written assessment for police recruitment will occur from April 28 to 30, 2026, for qualified applicants throughout the state.

This information was included in a release issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, in Osogbo on Saturday.

The statement indicated that “the procedure is being overseen by the Police Service Commission, PSC, in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force.”

It mentioned that “the assessment for Osun State candidates will be conducted at Osun State University, UNIOSUN, Oke-Baale Campus.”

The command highlighted that “only those applicants who have successfully passed the physical and credentials verification phase will be qualified to partake in the written assessment.”

Applicants were encouraged to visit the recruitment portal from April 24, 2026, to print their examination invitation cards, which include information regarding their test schedules.

“The Commission has scheduled 28–30 April 2026 for the written assessment for those seeking recruitment as Police Constables,” the statement specified.

It instructed candidates who were previously slated for April 27 to return to the portal, noting that there have been revisions to the timetable.

“Applicants who have not received any notification should check the website as well, to print their invitation letter,” the statement further noted.

The Commission also enumerated items necessary for the examination day, including “a pen, National Identification Number slip, printed invitation card, and a dress code of white shorts, white T-shirt, and white canvas shoes.”

It cautioned that the recruitment process is complimentary, emphasizing that “any form of job fraud, scams, or monetary inducement will be met with strict legal action.”
