The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has proclaimed the publication of further results from the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, increasing the overall number of results issued thus far to 1,897,692.
This was revealed in a statement on Sunday by the Board’s Public Relations Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, who mentioned that the most recent batch pertains to candidates who took the examination on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, 2026.
As per him, a total of 1,264,940 results from the two days have now been made accessible for candidates to retrieve.
“The results of candidates who participated in the examination on Friday, 17 April and Saturday, 18 April 2026 have now been unveiled. A total of 1,264,940 results from these two days are available for candidates to verify/view,” Benjamin communicated.
He reiterated that candidates can retrieve their results by sending “UTMERESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the same mobile number utilized during registration.
Benjamin additionally pointed out that the Board had previously issued 632,752 results of candidates who completed the examination on Thursday, April 16.
“This elevates the cumulative number of results issued so far to 1,897,692,” he added.
The ongoing release highlights a significant phase in the 2026 UTME process, as candidates across the nation continue to await their results for entry into higher institutions.
