“ADC Uncovers APC’s Scheme to Sabotage Ibadan Summit”

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Saturday claimed that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is attempting to hinder its planned opposition summit in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, made the assertion in a post shared on X, where he stated that the party had discovered schemes to disrupt the gathering slated for April 25.

“We have revealed intentions by the ruling APC to obstruct the summit being conducted by the opposition parties in Ibadan,” Abdullahi remarked.

He emphasized that the party would not relent.

He accused the ruling party of continually creating hindrances for opposition endeavors, noting that previous attempts to convene meetings in Abuja were similarly compromised.

“After denying us access to venues in Abuja, they now refuse to let us hold our meetings,” he remarked.

“They assert they are not intimidated, yet they act like individuals who are frightened.”

He affirmed that despite the supposed pressure, the opposition would advance with its intentions.

“We will not be discouraged, for we are aligned with the Nigerian populace,” he concluded.

Recall that during a prior ADC convention held in Abuja, Abdullahi had also expressed similar concerns regarding what he described as a last-minute endeavor to halt the event.
