Famed Nollywood performer, Tobi Makinde has addressed the speculated dispute with Funke Akindele.

NAIJATAB reveals that the information emerged online after Funke, who is recognized as Tobi’s mother in the cinematic field, did not attend his nuptials in December 2025.

Nevertheless, in a conversation with BBC, Tobi asserted that social media frequently fabricates stories that lack factual basis.

Elucidating their existing relationship dynamics, the actor stated that certain connections may seem to be lost as individuals navigate through various stages of life.

He expressed in Pidgin, “I’m not conscious of any dispute between madam Funke and me. Nothing significant transpired. Our connection did not begin on social media, and it won’t conclude there either.”

“As you advance and transition from one stage to another, some relationships might appear to be lost along the way,” he remarked.
