“SDP Leader Adebayo Critiques Tinubu’s Empty Promises on Security Following Jos Attack”

Former presidential contender of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Adewole Adebayo, has criticized President Bola Tinubu, asserting that he is merely offering platitudes regarding insecurity.

Adebayo expressed this during a visit to Anguwan Rukuba in Plateau State, where at least 29 individuals lost their lives in an assault on Palm Sunday night, with numerous others injured.

He emphasized that the ongoing loss of life and devastation of property throughout the nation indicates a breakdown in leadership.

The politician remarked that if the administration is genuinely dedicated to safeguarding its citizens, it possesses the ability to do so.

“The perpetrators who executed this assault are not more formidable than the government. If there is genuine intent, they can be identified and held accountable. Tinubu is merely offering empty promises regarding the insecurity facing the nation,” he stated.

Adebayo also extended condolences to the residents of Anguwan Rukuba regarding the unfortunate event, assuring them of his support during this challenging time, urging locals to stay alert while calling on authorities to take firm actions to restore security and avert future assaults.
