“Palm Sunday Shockwave: Actor Zuby Michael Urges Christians to Depart Jos Amid Outrage”

Nollywood performer Zuby Michael has triggered responses after urging Christians in Jos, Plateau State, to vacate the city.

Michael made this appeal while responding to the terrorist assault in the Angwan Rukuba region of the city on Sunday, where numerous individuals were allegedly killed.

On his Instagram account, he stated, “Christians ought to abandon Jos.”

He, nonetheless, emphasized that retribution would eventually catch up with the terrorists.

His message provoked a variety of responses, with many insisting that it isn’t a remedy, particularly since the majority of the inhabitants of the state are Christians.

Some of the comments include: Jerryluck expressed, “Abandon their ancestral grounds and go where? If this was happening in our Igbo territory, would you suggest we move to the west or north? Christian communities should merely assist them in retaliating. They require resources and backing to fight back.”

Riyanxeally commented, “Thank you, Eze, for consistently voicing your opinion, but most of the individuals there have established their lives in Jos. Where will they begin anew? The government must improve.”

RechealJoseph remarked, “We will never forsake our God-given territory for anyone. We shall triumph over whatever the adversaries have schemed in Jesus’ name.”

Ifemeludike stated, “For what reason? Plateau was originally a Christian state. This isn’t merely a matter of faith but about individuals having the courage to resist bullies and terrorists and demand a proactive government. Most importantly, to elect the right leaders.”

Ndagima Adu added, “The day we set aside religion and tribalism, we will begin to witness transformations. We need to awaken and reclaim our nation from poor governance.”
