
Nigerian gospel artist, Onos Brisibi, has passed away at the age of 55.
The information was verified by her family in a statement on Thursday.
Onos departed on Tuesday, March 23, 2026, after a struggle with illness.
“Onos Nancy Brisibi was a dedicated Christian, a talented vocalist, and a fervent praise and worship leader whose heavenly voice impacted numerous lives as she conveyed the gospel through music.
“She will be cherished as a lovely, fun-loving woman with a heart of gold, whose faith, warmth, and generosity made lasting impressions on all who crossed her path,” the statement noted in part.
Onos is survived by her daughter, Sarah Brisibi, her mother, siblings, extended family, friends, and her church community at LoveWorld Ministries.
