Her full name is Olawunmi Toriola, born on the 11th of July 1988 in Lagos State to a strict and disciplinarian father; she, however, experienced the loss of her mother during her childhood. She has three siblings, but no information about them is available online.

Wunmi Toriola completed her primary and secondary education in Lagos, after which she enrolled in the University of Ilorin, earning a degree in Arts.
