His full name is Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, and he was born on the 31st of October 1986 at Palm Street, Cross River State, Nigeria, to Mr. and Mrs. Mbuk. His mother served as a school headmistress and disciplinarian, while his father was a forester; tragically, he lost both his parents and elder brother in 2008.

In spite of this tragic event, Iyanya did not allow it to hinder his progress, and he strives relentlessly for success.

Education

Iyanya completed his early education at Qubi Centre Nursery School Calabar and attended a government primary school for his foundational education.

He subsequently enrolled at the government science school Calabar, where he acquired his Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE). The artist later gained admission to study Business Management at the University of Calabar (UNICAL).

Career

From a young age, he harbored an interest in singing and served as the children’s choir master in his church at just five years old.
