His complete name is Oyekunle Opeyemi Oluwaremi, born on the 18th of October 1988 to Engr. Joseph Oluwaremi and Mrs. Omolara Sherifat Oluwaremi in Gboko, Benue state.
Kunle Remi grew up in a Christian household alongside five other siblings; although he hails from Ekiti state, he was born in Benue state and raised in Ibadan, Oyo state.
The Nollywood star is a Nigerian by birth and will be 33 years old in October 2021.

Kunle Remi completed his primary and secondary education in Ibadan, Oyo state. He later gained admission to study Fisheries and Wildlife Management at the University of Ibadan.
