Isa Ashiru, Ex-PDP Gubernatorial Hopeful, Set to Make Waves with ADC Transition

Previous Kaduna State gubernatorial aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Isa Mohammed Ashiru, is poised to officially affiliate with the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

The declaration was made on his official X account on Saturday, where he stated: “OFFICIAL DECLARATION: I, Right Honourable Isa Mohammed Ashiru, will formally enroll with my new party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), on Sunday, 5th April 2026 at 11:00 AM, Insha Allah.”

He disclosed that the registration will occur at Kudan Ward, Kudan Local Government Area, and conveyed hope regarding the transition, adding:

“I anticipate this important move as we continue to strive for the advancement and progress of our community.”

NAIJATAB recalls that this development follows shortly after Ashiru officially departed from the PDP.

He presented his resignation letter to the PDP Chairman of Kudan Ward on Friday, March 27, 2026, formally concluding his association with the party.
