“Embracing Diversity: Oyebamiji’s Vision for Inclusivity Beyond Borders”

The All Progressives Congress, APC, gubernatorial nominee in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has declared that if elected on August 15, he will incorporate non-indigenes and various interest groups within the state.

Oyebamiji disclosed this on Sunday during a public interaction with the Arewa Community in Ibokun town, within the Obokun local government area of the state.

Represented by Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a previous special adviser to ex-Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Civic Engagement, Oyebamiji stated that his administration would adopt a systematic strategy to promote an inclusive, participatory government that would welcome all social classes.

“This framework will close the divide between the government and the grassroots, ensuring that public policies are grounded in the direct needs and contributions of the citizens,” he stated.

The APC gubernatorial candidate emphasized that the populace will be sufficiently involved in the formation and execution of his policies, as this would continually harness the state’s potentials in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals for the enhancement of the citizenry.

He affirmed, “We shall persist in promoting people-oriented initiatives of the party, engage with varied groups, including farmers’ associations, labor unions, artisans, and non-indigene communities, making them vital stakeholders.”

In response, the seriki of the Arewa Community in the Obokun local government area, Alhaji Ayuba Mohammed, commended the APC administration under former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for consistent engagement, offering adequate support, and addressing all communal matters that could have escalated into crises through the office of civic engagement.

“We are going to endorse and vote for APC in the upcoming gubernatorial elections, with Bola Oyebamiji as our candidate.

“They assisted us when we faced various issues regarding community matters in different regions of the state, and these were amicably resolved. We have since been living in peace and harmony.

“Thanks to the former governor’s aide, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, land was acquired for us, and our communities received consistent supplies of relief items from Oyetola’s administration.”

The Area community leader requested a more business-friendly atmosphere and urged Oyebamiji to maintain their relationship.

“We pledge our unwavering support for him, and we shall manifest it at the polls,” he added.
