
General Chris Eze (Rtd) was on Saturday chosen as the Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Enugu State.
Eze was selected alongside other officials of the party’s State Working Committee.
He is a previous State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a former Ambassador to India.
Also chosen were Prince Acharabuagu Kingsley, Vice Chairman Enugu North Zone, Lolo Queen N. Nwankwo State Organising Secretary, among others.
In his acceptance address on behalf of the newly appointed executive, Eze vowed to lead an inclusive administration that would involve all members in the party’s undertakings. He assured candidates of a fair environment in the upcoming party primaries in the state.
In a statement released by Comrade Adolphus Udeh, Eze further announced that the ADC was gearing up “to assume control in Enugu State during the 2027 general elections, with the aim of creating a populace-centered and grassroots-oriented government capable of delivering democratic benefits.”
