Former England representative, Gary Lineker, has pinpointed a challenging match that could hinder Arsenal’s pursuit of the Premier League title this season.

Arsenal ascended to the pinnacle of the Premier League standings on Saturday following a 1-0 victory over Newcastle United.

During an appearance on The Rest is Football podcast, Lineker remarked, “Arsenal may find themselves six points ahead of Man City before their next match, and the last four games for Arsenal are largely attainable.

“They’ll be hosting Fulham and then heading to West Ham, which will pose a challenge. West Ham are battling for survival and are performing well at this time.

“They’ve maintained one of the best records since the start of the year, so that will certainly be difficult for Arsenal.”

Arsenal and West Ham are scheduled to clash on 10 May at the London Stadium.
