The Anambra State administration has apprehended a well-known spiritual figure from Nnewi referred to as De Young Chief Priest.
This apprehension ensued after the administration’s initiative to target traditional practitioners and herbalists accused of concocting charms for offenders.
Law enforcement officials detained De Young Chief Priest on Thursday within his office in Nnewi due to purported illicit activities.
As per reports, the individual is presently being questioned by officials as part of a continuing inquiry into alleged spiritual aid offered to wrongdoers in the area.
The administration has not yet disclosed comprehensive information regarding the accusations against the herbalist.
