“Gyokeres Reflects on Arsenal’s Heartbreaking 2-1 Defeat to Bournemouth”

Arsenal forward, Viktor Gyokeres, has provided an explanation for his team’s Premier League 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday.

Although he managed to score, Gyokeres was unable to prevent the Gunners from succumbing to the Cherries at the Emirates Stadium.

Junior Kroupi and Alex Scott netted the goals for Bournemouth against Mikel Arteta’s squad.

Talking to BBC Sport after the game concluded, Gyokeres remarked, “We had several opportunities towards the conclusion.

“The pitch was somewhat dry, to be frank, so that didn’t assist. But as I mentioned, we all need to improve and capitalize on our chances.”

Arsenal has now shifted their focus to European competition as they host Sporting CP in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday at Emirates Stadium.
