Delta Council Chairman Abducted by Mysterious Assailants

The Leader of Sapele Local Government Area in Delta State, Bright Abeke, was allegedly kidnapped on Friday evening.

Sources revealed that the event took place at approximately 7:25 p.m. at a hotel situated along Owumi Road.

Witnesses reported that unknown assailants arrived at the site in a vehicle and opened fire before taking the leader to an undisclosed location.

During the chaos, a local vigilante member named Ufuoma and another person were said to have suffered injuries.

The wounded vigilante has since been transported to a healthcare facility, though his current status has not been officially verified.
