Kennedy Boboye, the Bendel Insurance technical consultant, has been suspended for 17 matches for exhibiting severe misconduct during the matchday 32 clash against Bendel Insurance.

The Benin Arsenals were also hit with a penalty of N7 million for failing to ensure sufficient security at the event held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Saturday.

As stated by the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), supporters of Bendel Insurance engaged in unsportsmanlike conduct that could tarnish the reputation of the sport.

Bendel Insurance has been instructed to conduct their next three home matches in the NPFL without any spectators.

The Benin Arsenals have the option to contest the verdict made by the league organization.
