Bauchi State Executive, Bala Mohammed, on Sunday organized a confidential meeting with prominent figures of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Observers suggest that the purpose of the meeting may be to discuss the party’s political trajectory amidst ongoing internal conflicts.
According to AIT, this enlarged stakeholders’ assembly occurs merely a week after a comparable meeting in Bauchi, which was attended by Governor Mohammed, Oyo State Executive Seyi Makinde, and former Bayelsa Executive Seriake Dickson, who is the leader of the newly registered Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
The conversations are anticipated to determine whether Governor Mohammed and other officials will persist in the PDP or explore different political affiliations.
