Heartland technical consultant, Emmanuel Amuneke is aiming for a robust conclusion to the 2025/26 season
The Naze Millionaires are striving for advancement to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
Amuneke’s team enhanced their prospects of a return to the top division with a 3-0 thrashing of Gateway FC at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Saturday.
The Owerri club currently holds the third spot on the NNL Conference A standings with 23 points from 13 matches
Heartland trails the leaders Inter Lagos FC by two points.
With an outstanding fixture against Smart City still pending, Amuneke stated they will endeavor to meet their aims.
“As I’ve consistently mentioned, we’re not here to create a fuss. We simply want to play our matches and tackle each one as it arises,” the coach remarked after the encounter with Gateway.
“Every match presents unique challenges. We are aware all three games will be quite tough, but what truly matters is our preparedness to engage them and fulfill our goals.”
