Tragic Highway Collision Claims Lives of Five Family Members on Damaturu-Maiduguri Route

A heartbreaking and tragic vehicular disaster on the Damaturu-Maiduguri thoroughfare has resulted in the demise of five youths from the same household, all employees of the College of Administration Management and Technology (CAMTECH), Potiskum, Yobe State.

The casualties were members of the Zayi family in Potiskum, leaving the locality in disbelief.

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, on Thursday through his Media Aide, characterized the occurrence as “horrifying, sorrowful, and catastrophic”.

“This is a sorrowful, extremely unfortunate, and a challenging time for the family and the entire state,” he stated.

The Governor prayed for the spirits of the deceased and wished those injured a swift recovery. Five individuals sustained injuries in the incident.

In a similar vein, Senator representing Yobe East Senatorial District, Musa Mustapha, has expressed condolences to the Zayi family and CAMTECH Potiskum regarding the unfortunate event.

“On behalf of the admirable residents of Yobe East Senatorial District, I offer our sincere sympathies to the Zayi family and the administration and personnel of the College of Administration, Management and Technology (CAMTECH) Potiskum.

Asking for Allah’s mercy for the departed souls, I also pray for the quick recovery of the five who were injured,” Sen. Mustapha remarked.
