Emmy award recipient and actress, Zendaya has responded to a viral fabricated wedding images of herself and actor Tom Holland circulating on the internet.
The pictures, which started trending on Instagram in mid-February, swiftly attracted enormous attention, accumulating over a million likes within an hour, igniting widespread reactions, with numerous fans questioning their validity.
Commenting on the images during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel live, Zendaya clarified that the pictures were AI-created and not authentic, highlighting that a surprising number of individuals were persuaded the images were real.
She disclosed that the scenario intensified when even acquaintances became convinced that she had secretly wed the British actor and inundated her with compliments.
“While I was just going about my day in reality, people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding pictures are stunning.’ And I was like, ‘Sweetheart, they’re AI. They’re not real’,” she expressed.
