“2026 APC Convention: Nigeria’s Ruling Party Aims to Embrace 33rd Governor and Reach 100 Million Citizens!”

The All Progressives Congress, APC, announced it would welcome its 33rd governor into the ruling party on Wednesday prior to its National Convention.

This emerges as the party aims to reach 100 million Nigerians with the Renewed Hope message.

The leadership of the subcommittees on Digital and Media revealed this in a statement on Tuesday.

The committee urged members to engage in effective communication before, during, and after the National Convention.

During the inaugural meeting on Tuesday in Abuja, Niger State Governor and Chair of the Committee Mohammed Bago encouraged the members to exhibit commitment and sacrifice everything to reach the goal.

“Today we welcomed the 32nd governor for the APC, and tomorrow we will welcome the 33rd,” he noted.

Also addressing the gathering was the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, who serves as co-chairman of the committee. He challenged members to convey to the world what the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu entails.

“We are not merely organizing a convention. We are demonstrating to the world that a party in Africa upholds genuine democracy for the people,” he asserted.

In his remarks, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to President Bola Tinubu on Digital/New Media, Ortega Ogra, stated that the committee will guarantee effective communication to a vast number of Nigerians and global audiences.

“We have set a goal to reach a minimum of 100 million Nigerians and, on a broader scale, 400 million individuals worldwide, and we will accomplish this using a mix of digital tools,” he articulated.

NAIJATAB reports that the convention is scheduled for March 26th and 27th, 2026, in Abuja.
