“Tragic Incident: Duo Charged with Murder in Adamawa Stabbing”



A young individual in Adamawa State has perished from knife wounds after notifying the authorities about being assaulted by two other males.
The 22-year-old Daniel Samuel from Michika town, had on Sunday, April 12, reported at the Divisional Police Headquarters, Michika, bearing signs of violence and bloodstains on his physique.

He informed the police that on that day, one Dakiyar Tumba, aged 23 years, and Sini Luka, aged 31 years, both residing at the same location, assaulted and stabbed him in the back with a knife.

The Adamawa State Police Command, which revealed the incident, stated that its personnel apprehended the two individuals related to the matter of conspiracy and culpable homicide.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje clarified in a statement provided to journalists in Yola that upon receiving the complaint, operatives from the Command linked to the Divisional Police Headquarters in Michika promptly transported the victim to the hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

“The body has been placed in the hospital morgue for an autopsy,” Nguroje remarked, noting that the two suspects are presently in detention, and the knife utilized in the commission of the offense was retrieved and will serve as evidence.

“The state Commissioner of Police, CP Kabir Umar Hassan condemned the occurrence and instructed the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) to ensure a thorough inquiry and prosecution of the suspects,” Nguroje stated.
