Galatasaray forward, Victor Osimhen, declined to be released from the hospital a day following his arm surgery.
This was revealed by TV100 analyst and Turkish reporter, Haluk Yürekli.
As per Yürekli, Osimhen appealed to Galatasaray after his operation last Monday.
“Victor Osimhen had surgery last Monday morning. The public was notified that Osimhen would be released the next day.
“However, Osimhen made a plea to the staff, stating, ‘I prefer not to be discharged; I would like to continue my recovery here so I can return more quickly.’
“A security personnel was positioned outside his room, and even his closest relatives were not permitted entry. He was released this afternoon,” Yürekli stated as reported by Habersarikirmizi.
Osimhen had sustained the hand injury during Galatasaray’s Champions League Round of 16 second-leg loss to Liverpool earlier this month.
