Manchester City head coach, Pep Guardiola, has responded to Liam Rosenior’s termination at Chelsea.
Rosenior was relieved of his duties as the chief coach of Chelsea on Wednesday following the Blues’ Premier League 3-0 setback to Brighton on Sunday.
In response, Guardiola expressed his regret regarding Rosenior’s dismissal.
The Spaniard also emphasized that the 41-year-old Englishman is a high-caliber manager.
When questioned about Rosenior’s termination, Guardiola stated at his post-match press briefing after Man City triumphed over Burnley 1-0 on Wednesday evening (as cited by Beanyman Sports), “I’m truly sorry.
“I’m confident he is a manager for that caliber.
“Whenever this occurs, I always reflect on how fortunate I am to be at the club where I am.”
