Governor Abdullahi Sule on Friday escorted Senator Aliyu Wadada to the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where he officially introduced him to President Bola Tinubu as the agreed governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State.
NAIJATAB recalls that Governor Sule of Nasarawa State recently declared Wadada as his favored successor.
Sule made the declaration during a gathering with political appointees at the Nasarawa State Government House.
He informed the attendees that the search for a successor had been in progress for more than a year, encompassing extensive consultations that transcended the limits of Nasarawa State.
As per him, the consultations featured dialogues with international and potential investors, youth organizations, women advocacy groups, traditional leaders, party representatives, and various stakeholders from the state’s three senatorial districts, in addition to selected members of his cabinet.
