31-year-old Brittney Denise Sharp was a patient of Dr. Pimple who was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis. According to the medical professionals, the neurofibromatosis was stated to potentially injure her internal organs and masses could accumulate near her brain. Some individuals speculate that this might be the reason for Brittney Sharp’s demise in Memphis, TN, although this has never been substantiated.

Brittney Denise Sharp was, however, showcased on Dr. Pimple Popper season two, episode nine for significant wart-like growths that appeared all over her body, seemingly after she became pregnant with her daughter.

Her Dr. Pimple Popper episode was broadcast in March, and she passed away in May.

Brittney Sharp had been battling the growths for an extended period, with some lasting as long as 11 years. She was engaged to be married and aimed to remove the growths prior to her wedding.

Ultimately, Dr. Lee was able to assist Brittney in removing the growths.

TLC broadcast a special homage “IN LOVING MEMORY OF BRITTNEY SHARP” and announced Brittany Sharp’s passing following the show in a statement that reads;

”Our thoughts are with Brittney Denise Sharp’s friends and family during this challenging time. In last night’s episode of the highly popular, yet slightly unsettling docuseries Dr. Pimple Popper, the TLC show aired a special tribute to season 2 (episode 9) patient Brittney.”

Regrettably, the 31-year-old Tennessee native departed on May 2.
