“Behind Bars Threat: VeryDarkMan’s Fiery Rebuke to Sowore”
Well-known Nigerian social media commentator, VeryDarkMan, VDM, has delivered a stern caution to human rights advocate, Omoyele Sowore, pledging to pursue legal measures if his likeness is utilized without consent.
In a clip shared on his official Instagram account, VDM spoke directly to Sowore, accusing him of lacking support and warning him against emulating the actions that recently placed entrepreneur Blord in legal jeopardy.
“Sowore, I am aware you have never favored me. All these activities you are engaging in online, I recognize. Sowore, I assure you, if you truly came into this world well, replicate what Blord did.
“Go ahead and use my image on a billboard or exploit my likeness to promote items without obtaining my authorization. You, Omoyele Sowore, I will ensure you face incarceration if you genuinely pursue what he has done,” he remarked.
NAIJATAB had previously reported that Blord was detained on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, concerning accusations of impersonating VeryDarkMan, forgery, false endorsement, violation of privacy, and identity theft, among other allegations.
In another development, Sowore responded to the affair, asserting that incarcerating Blord over what he labeled as an “innovative tactic” and the proficiency of VeryDarkMan’s legal representatives should not be perceived as a triumph.
