Kehinde Adegbodu, one-half of the Yoruba gospel music duo widely recognized as Adegbodu Twins, has detailed how his twin brother, Taiwo Adegbodu passed away.
This follows a week after the unexpected demise of Taiwo.
NAIJATAB reports that singer Kehinde who announced Taiwo’s passing on Sunday March 1, 2026, did not reveal the reason for his death.
However, recounting the unfortunate event to a group of visitors at their home in Ibadan, Kehinde indicated that Taiwo was never unwell.
Describing their final moments together prior to the tragic occurrence, Kehinde disclosed that Taiwo succumbed to a heart attack just moments after expressing discomfort in his chest.
Speaking in a widely circulated video on social media, he stated, “We went to our individual rooms after our nightly routine prayers at 9:00 PM on Saturday, February 28. He knocked on my door at 10:55 PM, indicating he was experiencing chest pains, and I took him to the hospital immediately where he passed away shortly after. He was never ill.”
