The All Progressives Congress, APC, has unveiled the timetable and schedule of events for the organization of its 2026 ward, local government area, LGA, and state congresses in Zamfara State.
The plan was disclosed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, as part of initiatives to enhance internal party frameworks ahead of upcoming electoral processes.
As stated by the party, the timetable specifies the procedures for the election of officials at the ward, LGA, and state tiers, in accordance with its constitution and internal democratic framework.
Significant activities encompass the evaluation of candidates for various party roles, ward and LGA congresses, and the state congress to appoint party officials in Zamfara.
The APC indicated that the initiative is intended to foster unity within the party, augment grassroots engagement, and guarantee credible leadership selection at all levels.
Party representatives also called upon members and stakeholders in Zamfara State to strictly follow the guidelines and timetable to facilitate a seamless and transparent congress procedure.
