“Choosing My Children First: Churchill Speaks Out Amid Divorce Rumors with Meurer”

Actress Tonto Dikeh’s former spouse, Olakunle Churchill, has spoken out amidst ongoing speculation regarding his separation from his partner, Rosy Meurer.

Initially, there were allegations that Meurer initiated divorce proceedings against Churchill on April 20, 2026, following his purported recent close connection with Tonto Dikeh after their son, King Andre’s 10th birthday celebration three months prior.

However, addressing the swirling divorce rumors, Churchill, in a message on his Instagram story on Friday, stated that, “As a parent, if I’m ever faced with the choice between my children or someone/anything else, I will choose my children. No question.”

NAIJATAB reports that the speculation first emerged online shortly after Churchill reconnected with his ex-spouse, Tonto Dikeh, in January 2026, nine years following their tumultuous divorce.

Clarifying the reason for their reunion, Churchill, in an Instagram post, emphasized that the reconciliation with his ex is solely for co-parenting purposes and not as a romantic couple. Since that time, they have been spotted together in various photos and videos.

Meurer, who was once familiar with the former couple prior to their split, was earlier accused of “taking” Churchill from Tonto.

She wed Churchill in 2019, just two years after his separation from Tonto.
